Pete Balentine, Pastor.
Pete’s primary responsibility is to teach the Word of God and coach ministry leaders. Pete provides pastoral guidance to the church leadership and others who seek it, serves on the Leadership Council (governing board of Hope), administers the ordinances of communion and baptism, and conducts weddings and funerals. Pete is a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Allison, live with their four children in Newburyport.

Lauren Gagnon, Children’s Ministry Director.
Lauren oversees our various ministries to children, including Kids Church, Nursery, Children’s Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. Lauren and her husband, Marc, have two children and live in Exeter, NH.

Peter Fitzroy, Director of Youth.
Pete lead our youth ministry team, coordinating our middle school and high school classes on Sunday morning, youth group, and special events, retreats, and service projects. Pete and his wife Bethany are both graduates of Gordon College, with dual majors in Bible and Youth Ministry.

Bob Manseau, Worship Leader.
Bob leads our worship band each Sunday – coordinating drummer, bass player, keyboards, and vocalists. Bob and his wife, Charlene, live in Amesbury.

Ken Meloon, Choir Director.
Ken directs our choir in weekly practice and biweekly singing in the worship service. Ken also directs seasonal choral performances. He and his wife Jan live in Newburyport.

Karen Murphy, Church Administrator.
Karen answers phones, greets people, and coordinates the use of our buildings, including negotiating rentals. She keeps the master schedule, including weddings and funerals. She also produces the weekly bulletin. Karen Murphy grew up in Newburyport and now lives in Salisbury.

Russ Seguin, Facilities Manager.
Russ oversees the upkeep and maintenance of our facility, including repair, maintenance, and capital improvements. Russ is a lifelong Newburyporter but he and his wife Sandy also enjoy the lakes of New Hampshire.

Bob Farris, Custodian.
Bob’s job includes cleaning, table setup and take down, and various maintenance jobs. He and his wife, Jackie, live in Salisbury.

Financial Secretary, Ken Jackson (Patty Ellis in winter).
Ken counts the weekly offering and tracks member giving. He and his wife, Ellie, live in Salisbury.

Dave Proctor, Treasurer.
Dave pays the bills and provides overall leadership in the area of finances at Hope. He and his wife, Raylene, live in Salisbury.
